The PIAA State Championships is the peak of high school XC in Pennsylvania every year with it being the end to most athletes season as they prepare for the indoor season to follow. We decided to compare the athletes who competed at States from 2024 to 2025 to see who improved the most. This years most improved athlete was Ethan Speelman of Somerset Area taking an incredible 2:55 off his time from a year ago. 
Travis Furmanski posted the fastest time of the day running 15:34 for the AAA crown which was 1:28 faster than the time he posted from a year ago.
