MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore Chad Drzewiecki recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 400-meter hurdles on a gorgeous and sunny afternoon for the Shippensburg University men's track and field team at the Millersville University Spring Invitational. Drzewiecki (53.74) paced a group of four Red Raiders who posted solid PSAC qualifying times in the event.

Sophomore Eric Wolfe recorded a new season-best in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.48 seconds. Senior Josh Neyhart picked up his PSAC qualifier in the 800-meter dash while junior Matt Gelety improved one second off his previous season best time. Junior Sean Stetler earned his PSAC qualifier in the 1,500 with a second-place finish in 3:59.24.

The 4x400-meter relay of freshman Marcus Line, Drzeweicki, Kyle Raguz and Wolfe improved four seconds off its previous season-best by recording a time of 3:19.12.

Shippensburg will compete in a big meet next weekend at Bucknell. Distance competition will begin Friday.
