KUTZTOWN, Pa. –
Kim Stitt and
Brady Wert both reach NCAA provisional qualifying marks at the Mondschein Multi Event Friday at Kutztown University.
Stitt won the seven-event, two-day heptathlon with a final score of 4,511 points. That mark is an NCAA Division II provisional qualifier. Stitt also owns a provisional qualifying mark in the triple jump, which she set last week at the SRU Invitational.
Kelly Bruder placed fifth with a score of 3,897 points and
Julianna Guido finished seventh with a total of 3,620 points.
On the men's side,
Brady Wert was the lone competitor for Slippery Rock in the 10-event decathlon. Wert placed second with a score of 6,344 points.
The majority of The Rock track and field teams will travel to Indiana (Pa.) Saturday for the IUP Invitational.
