Chelsea Gibson and senior
Jessica Hilborn each had a hand in the scoring of two points Friday afternoon to lead top-seeded Slippery Rock University to a 5-0 win fifth-seeded Indiana (Pa.) in semifinal action of the NCAA Division II Atlantic 2 Regional women's tennis tournament.
Gibson and Hilborn teamed up to record an 8-6 victory in the No. 2 doubles match before Gibson claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 4 singles match and Hilborn reigned by a 6-3, 6-2 score in the No. 5 singles match.
The Rock's other points came on an 8-4 win by the No. 1 doubles team of senior

Dunja Drmac and an 8-3 triumph by the No. 3 doubles team of sophomore
Sarah Lynch and freshman
Janelle Krantz.
Friday's win moved The Rock (20-5), which is ranked 34th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association national poll, into a 12 noon regional-final match Saturday vs. 42nd-ranked Bloomsburg (15-5).
Saturday's match will mark the fourth consecutive season in which SRU has played for a regional championship. The Green and White won the regional title in 2008 before it lost a 5-3 decision to Bloomsburg last spring. The Rock also lost a regional-final decision (5-0) at Bloomsburg in 2007.
Bloomsburg, the No. 2 seed in this year's regional tournament, blanked third-seeded West Virginia Wesleyan by a 5-0 score in the other semifinal match Friday.
SRU and Bloomsburg split a pair of previous matches this season, the Huskies winning a 5-4 regular-season decision Sept. 20 before The Rock scored a 5-2 win April 23 in a semifinal match of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships. Both matches were played in Bloomsburg.
The winner of Saturday's rubber match, the Atlantic 2 Regional final, will meet No. 50 St. Cloud State (Minn.) in a Round of 16 match May 12 in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
St. Cloud State won the Central 1 Regional title Friday with a 5-0 win over Mesa State (Colo.) on the winners' home courts.
Friday's win was The Rock's third in as many matches this season vs. indiana, a PSAC-Western Division rival, and gave the Green and White 20 wins in a season for the fourth straight season and sixth time in school history, all under the tutelage of 12th-year head coach Matt Meredith.
