CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Live results will be available throughout the three-day NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, which begin Thursday and conclude Saturday at the Irwin Belk Track Complex in Charlotte.
Five Slippery Rock female athletes will compete at the national meet, with
Amanda Seigworth,
Allison Smith and
Jen Harpp opening competition Thursday evening.
Seigworth and Smith will compete in the 400-meter hurdles prelims, scheduled for 8:10 p.m. Thursday evening. Seigworth enters the event as the fifth seed, while Smith enters as the number seven seed.
Harpp will close out the first day of competition with the 10,000-meter run finals, scheduled for 8:40 p.m. Harpp is the third seed in the event.
Competition will continue Friday with
Jen Hansen and
Kim Stitt, as well as Seigworth.
Hansen, the number two seed in the pole vault, will look for her sixth career All-America honor beginning at 5:05 p.m. Stitt will compete in the triple jump, where she is seeded 16th, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
Seigworth will close out the second day of competition for SRU with the 100-meter hurdles prelims, where she is the 17th seed. The hurdles are set for 7:20 p.m.
Seigworth and Smith will both have the opportunity to compete Saturday on the final day of the meet, but both will have to qualify for the finals in hurdles. If qualified, they will run the 400-meter hurdles final at 6:25 p.m. Seigworth can also qualify for the finals in the 100-meter hurdles, which will take place at 8:01 p.m.

6:25 p.m. - W 100m hurdles finals (Seigworth if qualified)
8:01 p.m. - W 400m hurdles finals (Seigworth, Smith if qualified)
