CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The second day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Division Outdoor Track and Field Championships was postponed late Friday night after two weather delays prompted by thunderstorms that struck the Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex.
Freshman
Megan Breski, who was in line to begin her first attempt in the pole vault, will now begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. Sophomore
Amanda Raudabaugh was next up on the track for the 800-meter run but will now compete on Saturday as well. Fellow sophomore
Neely Spence had her 5K qualifying heat pushed back to Saturday.
A full schedule will be posted soon by the NCAA. The only night-time qualifying that was completed was the 200-meter run. Timed finals will be completed in the events that did not finish qualifying competition.
