Emily Norton finished seventh and teammate
Caileigh Hughes placed 11th, but was the top javelin thrower, on the final day of the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Track and Field Pentathlon at Oberlin on Sunday.
Hughes's toss of 25.15 meters bested the field in the javelin. She finished with 2,674 points while Norton scored 3,245.
Norton's top placement of the day came in the long jump when she stretched 4.73 meters. In the javelin, she was fifth (21.80), while in the 800, she took 10th (2:47.99).
Hughes added a nine-place finish in the 800 (2:47.67) and was 11th in the long jump (3.97 meters).
Madeline Schultz of Oberlin won the penathlon with 4,044 points.
