SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Slippery Rock University Director of Athletics
Paul Lueken proudly announced Monday 75 Rock student-athletes have been named as recipients of 2009-10 Division II ADA Academic Achievement Awards.
The awards are sponsored by the Division II Athletic Directors Association and presented to student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work and were an active member of an intercollegiate team during the most recent academic year.
The group of Rock student-athletes honored by the ADA includes three female student-athletes who currently own perfect 4.0 GPAs and 28 student-athletes who own GPAs of 3.75 or higher.
