SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg has released its 2010-11 track and field schedule. Under the direction of sixth-year head coach Dave Osanitsch '96, the Lady Raider squad will try to defend its indoor and outdoor PSAC titles while the men's squad will attempt to protect its outdoor conference championship.

The indoor slate includes multiple events at Bucknell University in Lewisburg including the season opener during the weekend of December 3-4. Shippensburg will also compete at the New Balance Games at The Armory in New York City from February 3-4.

Both squads will compete at the 2011 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Dome from February 26-27 in Edinboro. NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for March 10-12 in Albuquerque.

Outdoor competition begins on March 19 with the Lynchburg Invitational in Lynchburg, Va. Shippensburg also plans to send athletes to the 2011 Penn Relays held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia from April 28-29. Shippensburg will again host the seventh annual Paul Kaiser Track and Field Classic on April 24 at Seth Grove Stadium.

The 2011 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for May 12-14 at Slippery Rock University's N. Kerr Thompson Stadium. Shippensburg's national qualifiers will travel to Turlock, Cal. and the campus of Cal State Stanislaus from May 26-28 for the 2011 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
