Defending AAA outdoor state Triple Jump Champ Darnell Johnson of Gettysburg, needed just one meet to qualify for the PTFCA Indoor Championship in his specialty. He leapt 45-11 for the win, and with a PR of two feet further, should be in the mix for the title. Duane Hynes of Central Bucks South decided quantity was important at this meet, trying a wide variety of events. He won three, the Long Jump (20-10), the 60 Hurdles (9.1), and the High Jump (6-00). He was also 2nd in two events, the Pole Vault (12-06) and the Shot Put (41-01.75).
