SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Head track and field coach Dave Osanitsch '96 has announced the 2010-11 recruiting class for the Red Raider track and field/cross country program. The group of 24 newcomers includes eight district medalists, six state medalists, five district champions and four state champions.

“Coach (Steve) Spence and myself are very pleased with the upcoming recruiting class," Osanitsch said. "We specifically looked for sprinters, mid-distance runners and throwers. We were very fortunate to attract some fantastic young talent in those areas."

"With the pieces we already possess from the upperclassmen we have, this team should be one of the most balanced we have had in recent years and should make us a threat to score in every event at the PSAC championships. We are excited to get the cross country and track seasons started up for this upcoming year.”
