SRU settled in and finished the half with a 14-6 advantage in total shots, but could not find the back of the net.

Paganie equalized in the 51st minute and Walters followed with the game winner exactly three minutes later as The Rock pushed the tempo and controlled the second half.

For the game, The Rock posted advantages of 30-8 in total shots, 17-3 in shots on goal and 4-2 in corner kicks.

Walters led the way with nine total shots, including three shots on goal. Toby Bowser and David Moore each added three shots on goal. Thad Madzelonka was credited with an assist on Walters' game-winning goal, giving him his first collegiate point.

Greg Blum earned the win in goal, allowing one goal and recording two saves.

Efren Gutierrez took the loss for the Shock after allowing two goals and recording 15 saves.

The Rock will take on No. 7 Charleston (W.Va.) Sunday at 1 p.m. at Shippensburg. Sunday's game will be a rematch of the NCAA Regional final from last season, where Charleston defeated SRU 3-2 to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals.

SRU opens the home and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference schedule Sept. 8 when No. 17 Millersville travels to Thompson Stadium. The Rock defeated Millersville, then ranked No. 1, 2-1 for the PSAC championship last season.
