KUTZTOWN, Pa. - In only her second meet as a member of the women's cross-country team junior runner #
Kim Hummel# placed first with a time of 25:35.00 to win the 2010 Kutztown University Maroon and Gold Invite Saturday afternoon.
As a team, the Lady Lions placed second overall, while their male counterparts placed third on the day. Leading the men's team in Saturday's meet was #
Bob Kellert# who finished in fifth place with a time of 29:27.00.
Back to women's meet, senior #Gabby Stein# finished in 10th place with a time of 28:27.00, followed by #
Mallory Ketterer# in 11th place and #
Mary Frederick# in 12th place. Normally a sprinter and jumper on the Albright track and field team, Mackenzie Miller put on her running shoes Saturday afternoon and finished in 16th place with a time of 38:27.00.
For the men's team #
Eli Frey# finished in 10th place with a time of 30:53.00. Freshman #
Sam Marcotte# was right on his heels and finished in 11th place with a final time of 31:15.00.

James Guischard# closed out Saturday's meet in 17th, 18th, and 19th place respectively. Weber crossed the finish line with a time of 32:15.00. Unger ended the meet with a time of 34:35.00 and Guischard finished with a time of 34:45.00.
Cross-Country returns to action next Saturday when they take part in the Dickinson College Long-Short run. Start time is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
