PA Girls Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of March 23

Pennsylvania high school track and field athletes posted multiple personal bests and school records during competition from March 23-26.

Mya Robinson (Swenson Arts & Technology, Philadelphia) won the long jump at Philadelphia Public League #1 with a leap of 18-8, improving from her previous best of 13-10.5. The senior ranks #18 in Pennsylvania and #6 among seniors statewide. Robinson also ran 29.47 in the 200 meters, bettering her previous mark of 29.60.

Evangelina Fisher (Blue Mountain, Schuylkill Haven) cleared 5-2 in the high jump at Blue Mountain at Exeter on March 25, winning the event and improving from 4-10. The freshman ranks #81 in Pennsylvania and #2 among freshmen statewide.

Tessa Fourspring (Mount Carmel Area) set a school record with a 5-4 high jump clearance at Warrior Run at Mount Carmel Area on March 26. The sophomore improved from 5-0.25 and ranks #38 in Pennsylvania and #4 among sophomores statewide.

Lily Paolini (Wyomissing Area) ran 14.84 in the 100-meter hurdles at Wyomissing HS vs Berks Catholic on March 26, setting a school record and improving from 15.59. The sophomore ranks #23 in Pennsylvania and #3 among sophomores statewide.

Raegan Toomey (Bangor Area) ran 12.20 in the 100 meters at Bangor vs Saucon Valley on March 24, setting a school record and improving from 12.60. The senior ranks #41 in Pennsylvania and #11 among seniors statewide.

Kimora Woods (East Stroudsburg Area South) ran 14.91 in the 100-meter hurdles at ES South vs Pleasant Valley on March 24, setting a school record and improving from 15.40. The junior ranks #30 in Pennsylvania and #7 among juniors statewide.

Kiara Vasquez (Easton Area) ran 57.71 in the 400 meters at Emmaus vs Easton on March 24, improving from 58.72. The junior ranks #51 in Pennsylvania and #15 among juniors statewide.
