CLEVELAND, Ohio- Senior Jeramie Parker was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Runner of the Week after delivering a leading effort in Allegheny's strong performance at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational. 

Parker was the first Allegheny runner through the chute at last Friday's mega-meet, finishing 42nd overall in a personal-record time of 24:49. Parker finished just ahead of the University of Virginia's number four in a tough battle with several Division I standouts. Finishing as the second Division III runner in a race featuring hundreds of competitors, the Middletown, Md., native paced Allegheny to the highest finish among Division III schools
