Council Rock North may mainly be a distance-focused school, but they seem to have depth everywhere, from the sprints and jumps to the throws and then distance, where they obviously excel.
North was missing a major part to there success in recent history, this indoor season with Lucas Poliseno being injured and missing almost the entire season. The now senior holds PRs of 1:51 over 800m, 4:12 over 1600m, and just came off a 16th-place finish this fall during the XC season at PIAA 3A state championships. It looks like Lucas is shaping into form again, already running 1:58 and 4:25 respectively in the early season and staying undefeated so far.
Matt Gosling has to be a name on everyone's list to watch out for. The senior chose to focus on relays this indoor season, with his team medaling in both the DMR and 4X800, but is coming off a 6th place finish last spring in the 3200m and a 7th place finish this fall during the XC season.
Jonathan Poliseno, the little brother of Lucas, may just be a sophomore, but he is already toeing the line with the best on his team. Most recently, he just got outleaned by Lucas in a 1600, also running 4:25, but losing by .007 seconds. He is also coming off a 46th-place finish this fall at the XC state championships.
Brady Pae is a crucial piece to CRN DMR with his 400 speed, and gives them a consistent 51-52 split all indoor season. Pae is mainly focusing on the hurdles indoors and ran 8.68 for 60mh.
Andrew Foulke was a crucial piece to the team's success this indoor season in both the 4x8 and DMR, running the 800m twice at the indoor state championships and being under that 2-minute barrier to keep them in the race so they could medal in both events.
Jayden Neels has missed almost all of his senior year due to injury, but is on the path back to running and racing. The now senior holds PRs of 1:57 over 800m, 4:22 in the 1600, and 9:27 over 3200m. Only time will tell if he can get back to those times and help out on relay duty before going to SJU in the fall.
