READING, Pa. – At their annual Homecoming Meet, the Albright men's cross-country team placed first, while the women's team picked up a second place finish. Junior runner #
Kim Hummel# won the women's meet, while #
George Cook# and #
Eli Frey# placed in the top-3 on the men's side Saturday afternoon.
Hummel closed out Saturday's meet with a final time of 26:05.00, which was 31 seconds faster than the next competitor. Finishing in fifth place was #
Gabby Stine# with a time of 28:45.00, followed by #
Lauren Centafont# in 16th place with a time of 31:22.00.

Mallory Ketterer# and #Erika Snyder# finished in 17th and 18th place respectively with times of 31:49.00 and 31:59.00.
On the men's side, Cook recorded a time of 28:59.00 to finish in second place on the 8K course. Frey finished 14 seconds behind his teammate and 35 seconds former Albright runner #
Dan Dalton# '10.

Bob Kellert# recorded a sixth place finish with a time of 30:22.00. Freshman #
Jon Weber# finished in 11th place with a time of 31:39.00. #
James Guischard# was the next Lions runner to cross the finish line with a time of 32:13.00 to earn a 15th place finish.

Sam Marcotte# closed out Saturday's meet for the Lions, with Unger earning a 23rd place finish (33:07.00) and Marcotte a 28th place finish (34:09.00).
Cross-Country returns to action in two weeks when they take on Alvernia University in a dual meet.
