WOMEN'S RESULTS
Reading, Pa. (Oct. 9, 2010) - Alvernia University's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the Albright Invitational Saturday morning. The women's team finished in fifth place, while the men's team did not post a team score.
John Sorenson (Bethlehem, Pa.) paced the men's team with a seventh place finish in a time of 30:32.
Jason Karpinski (Douglassville, Pa./St. Pius X),
Philip Rakszawski (Lansdale, Pa./Christopher Dock) and
Colin Donovan (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) finished 38, 40 and 43 respectively.
The women's team was led by
Emily Bieber (Blandon, Pa./Oley Valley) who ran the 6k course in 30:30 good for 14th place.
Emily Dietz (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) finished 20th with a time of 32:44.
Diana Christman (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg), Kate Roesch (Glenville, Pa./Oldfields) and Stephanie Viola finished 22, 26 and 28 respectively.
