The youth of PA athletes are here, and with the outdoor season in full swing, the talent of these young athletes is on full display.
Pennsylvania high school track and field athletes posted several personal records at meets held from March 30 through April 4.
Giada Arcade (Pennridge, Perkasie) jumped 39-9 in the triple jump at Souderton vs Pennridge Girls on March 31, improving from her previous best of 31-8. The mark set a school record and ranks #6 in Pennsylvania and #1 among sophomores. Arcade also set personal records in the long jump (14-8, from 14-1.75), 100-meter hurdles (18.94, from 19.24), and pole vault (8-0, from 7-6) at the same meet.
Ava DeLorenzo (Butler, Butler) cleared 5-4 in the high jump at North Allegheny at Butler on March 30, improving from 4-4 set in March 2026. The sophomore ranks #40 in the state and #4 among her class. DeLorenzo also jumped 16-6.5 in the long jump, bettering her previous mark of 16-3.
Marlee Malizia (West Chester Henderson, West Chester) ran 2:19.93 in the 800 meters at the Rustin Invitational on April 1, cutting her previous best of 2:34.09 from January 2026. The sophomore placed sixth out of 71 competitors and ranks #129 in Pennsylvania and #13 among sophomores.
Lily Frantz (Downingtown East, Exton) clocked 2:20.22 in the 800 meters at the Rustin Invitational on April 1, improving from 2:29.61. The junior finished seventh out of 71 runners and ranks #141 in the state and #24 among juniors.
Nyah Shukla (East Pennsboro Area SD, Enola) cleared 11-6 in the pole vault at Northern vs. East Pennsboro on March 31, improving from 11-0. The junior ranks #26 in Pennsylvania and #8 among her class. Shukla also jumped 14-10 in the long jump, bettering her previous mark of 13-10.5.
Asr Fideen (Easton Area, Easton) ran 12.30 in the 100 meters at Stroudsburg at Easton on March 31, improving from 12.64 set in March 2026. The junior ranks #63 in the state and #13 among her class.
Brylee Miller (Conestoga Valley, Lancaster) clocked 11.90 in the 100 meters at the Bruce Dallas Invitational on April 4, improving from 12.14. The sophomore won the event out of 38 competitors and ranks #11 in Pennsylvania and #2 among sophomores.
