LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team battled Lock Haven to a scoreless draw after double overtime Saturday at Hubert Jack Stadium in what was the final game of the regular season for both teams. SRU will advance to conference playoffs, while LHU's season has come to an end.
With the tie, The Rock secures the fifth seed in next week's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs and will travel to Bloomsburg Tuesday, Nov. 2. Kickoff in that quarterfinal match has been set for 2 p.m.
Slippery Rock (12-3-3, 8-3-3 PSAC) finished Saturday's game with the edge over Lock Haven (6-8-3, 3-8-3 PSAC) in every statistical category, posting advantages of 15-6 in shots, 6-1 in shots on goal and 10-1 in corner kicks.
The tie increases SRU's current unbeaten steak to 11 games with a record of 8-0-3 over that stretch.
Dana O'Neill recorded her eighth shutout of the season in goal for SRU, making one save. Dana Wozniak made six saves for LHU.

Ashley Paganie each had five shots to lead the Slippery Rock offense.
