SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team will sponsor a Holiday Hoops Youth Clinic for girls and boys in grades K-8 Sunday, Dec. 12, in Morrow Field House.

The clinic will run from 12-4 p.m. and will feature Rock women's basketball student athletes and coaches. Cost is $25 per person. Please make checks payable to Slippery Rock Women's Basketball. The clinic offers basketball instruction and fun and will include fundamental drills, contests and games, as well as an autograph session with Rock student athletes and coaches and a pizza party.

First-year Rock Women's Basketball Head Coach Tanya Longo also announced the team will hold its annual "Pink Zone" event Saturday, Feb. 12, when the Green and White will host Indiana (Pa.) in a 1 p.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division game in Morrow Field House. The event will benefit breast cancer awareness projects.
