SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team in now taking orders for Lax-4-Life t-shirts and wristbands that can be worn to the annual Lax-4-Life game April 2.

All proceeds raised through t-shirt and wristband sales, along with gameday promotions and donations, will benefit the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Fund. Allyson's Fund was set up to help raise awareness and support for programs to help prevent adolescent suicide.

The Rock women's lacrosse team has played a Lax-4-Life game in each of the previous three seasons.

The 2011 t-shirts are yellow and feature a graphic Lax-4-Life design on both the front and back of the shirt. The actual shirt can be seen to the right. The team will wear these shirts during warmups before the April 2 home game against Shepherd, set for noon.

The Rock will also sell black and yellow Lax-4-Life wristbands.
