FINDLAY, Ohio – Findlay University Head Football Coach Rob Keys, a former assistant coach at Slippery Rock University, recently announced two other former Rock coaches have joined his staff.
Thomas Howard will serve as one of Keys' co-defensive coordinators, while Dom Razzano will coordinate the special teams.
Howard joined the Findlay staff after serving two seasons as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Lincoln University in Missouri. Before his time at Lincoln, Howard coached for three seasons at Slippery Rock and three seasons as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at Allen University in South Carolina.
Razzano, a former Rock football student athlete who was a volunteer assistant under Keys at SRU in 2009, joined the Findlay staff after serving one season as a volunteer assistant at St. Vincent College in Loretto. He has three seasons of coaching experience in a variety of roles on the semi-pro league with the New Castle Thunder. Razzano is a 2008 graduate of SRU and earned three letters in football.
Keys, who served four seasons (2004-09) at The Rock as defensive backs coach, special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator, was named as Findlay's head coach on Dec. 16, 2010. He was defensive backs coach at the University of New Hampshire last fall.
