SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The 16th Annual Slippery Rock University Women's Athletics Golf Outing has been scheduled for Friday, June 17 at the Pine Grove Golf Club in Grove City.

The Women's Athletics Golf Outing is held annual to raise scholarship dollars for the women's athletic programs at SRU.

Over the last two years, the outing has seen a record number of participants and in turn has produced a record number of funds.

“We're excited to keep this outing at Pine Grove Golf Club again this summer,” said Paul Lueken, SRU director of athletics. “We have a had a great turnout and a great atmosphere the last couple years and we're looking forward to repeating that again this summer.”

Registration for this year's outing will be $100 per golfer, but an early bird special of $85 is available to all entrants registering before June 1.

Included in a golfer's registration are 18 holes of greens fees with a cart, a cookout lunch and a catered dinner, beverages before, during and after golf and an entry gift. Participants can also partake in multiple raffles and contests throughout the day, including a putting contest that takes place before the shotgun start.

Sponsorships are also still available at varying levels.
