8/30-O\'Hara returns top team and top two individuals in strong PCL

Senior Katie Kelly will be looking to repeat as individual champ.

This year, Cardinal O'Hara is the favorite to win the league title. O'hara returns all of their varsity that won the title in 2004. The Kelly sisters, Beth and Kate, along with Caroline Grant, Kelly Unger and Kate McShay, give the Lions a very strong team. Plus, they have a new head coach, John McShay.

Archbishop Prendergast returns all of their varsity as well, and should give O;'Hara a run at the end of the season. Junior Colleen Boland leads an experienced team along with seniors Kelli Fierras, Christine DePompeo, and Maureen Benner. Prendie will be looking to rebound from a dissappointing day at Champs last year.

St Hubert's returns most of their top runners and will also be in contention for the league title. The Kelly sisters, junior Tracey and sophomore Lauren, along with Meghan Delaney and Lauren Edger will make this team very tough to beat by the end of the year.

Archbishop Carroll returns their top four runners from a year ago. The Rettew sisters, Cooie and Libby, along with Amanda Cosful and Emily Paffat, will be looking to make some noise at the league champs.

Sophomore sister Beth was 2nd in 2004.
She was PCL champ in the 3200 in May.

Archbishop Ryan has two of the top runners in the league in Janine Walsh and Kate Roberts. With some new faces this team just might make a run at the end of the year.

The individual title should come from one of the above mentiioned girls.... with O'Hara senior Katie Kelly defending her crown. Sister Beth was 2nd in 2004. Out of the top 25 in 2004, only two one graduated, with all of the top 13 back.
