WEXFORD, Pa. – The 23rd-ranked Slippery Rock University women's tennis team chalked up its fifth win of the 2010-11 season Sunday afternoon when it subdued previously-unbeaten in-state rival Bloomsburg University (3-1) by a 6-2 count at the Oxford Athletic Club.

Samantha Bruggeman battled tooth-and-nail for a 9-8 (9-7) victory in the No. 3 match.

Dunja Drmac and freshman
Lauren Coggins recorded an 8-4 victory.
Drmac (6-4, 6-1), Krantz (2-6, 6-4, 10-7) and Coggins (6-1, 6-3) followed up their doubles wins with victories in the No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 singles matches, respectively.
Lynch's No. 1 singles match was not completed due to time constraints. Lynch won the first set 7-6 (8-6) and was leading by a 3-1 score in the second set when time elapsed.
The Rock returns to action Friday, when it will host Malone College of Ohion in a 6:30 p.m. match at the Oxford Athletic Club.
