NEW YORK, N.Y. - Just one week after setting a new program record in the 4x200 relay, the team of Danisha Higgs, Taylor Kutz, Meghan Loos and Shannon Loos did it again as they recorded a combined time of 1:47.99 to shatter their original record by almost two seconds Friday afternoon at the 2011 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championship.

The Lady Lions record time earned them a 14th place finish overall in the event.  Earlier in the afternoon Higgs competed in the preliminary round of the 55 meter dash.  With a time of 7.36 seconds, Higgs just missed qualifying for tomorrow's finals.  Of the eight runners that qualified for the finals, one earned an automatic bid to the NCAA championship meet, while six other sprinters provisionally qualified.

Albright will close out day two of the ECAC championship meet tomorrow, with Justin Gewirtz competing in the high jump and Higgs competing in the 200 meter dash.
