HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The 23rd-ranked Slippery Rock University women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 6-3 decision Sunday afternoon to Ashland (Ohio) University.
The loss was only the second in eight dual matches this season for the Green and White. Ashland improved its season record to 13-5

Dunja Drmac was the only Rock player to record wins in both her singles and doubles matches. She and partner
Lauren Coggins combined efforts to record an 8-2 win the No. 2 doubles match before Drmac chalked up a 6-1, 6-3 win in the No. 2 singles match.
The other Rock point came via a 6-1, 6-0 win by No. 1 singles player
Sarah Lynch.
The Rock returns to the courts for two matches Monday, beginning with an 8 a.m. duel with Millersville and ending with a 6:30 p.m. match vs. Chestnut Hill.
