HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Slippery Rock University's 26th-ranked women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision Thursday night to #42 Palm Beach Atlantic University in the final match of SRU's annual spring trip.
The loss dropped SRU's season record to 9-3. The Sailfish improved their season record to 9-4.
One of the highlights of the match for The Rock was the strong comeback by the No. 3 doubles team of
Elisabeth Yetiskul and
Samantha Bruggeman, who trailed by a 6-0 score but then scored nine of the next 11 points to record a 9-8 victory.
The win by the duo of Yetiskul (pictured) and Bruggeman was the only one recorded by The Rock in doubles action. The Green and White got singles wins from No. 1 player

Dunja Drmac and No. 5 player
Lauren Coggins.
The Rock is idle until March 26, when it will travel to Edinboro for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division match.
