RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore Caitlin Stuetz won the 400-meter hurdles on Friday night and sophomore Megan Breski won the pole vault as the Shippensburg women's outdoor track and field team finished its first day of competition from the Fred Hardy Invitational.

Stuetz posted a time of 1:04.81 while Breski cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault. Sophomore Ashley Fornshell was one of five conference qualifiers in the 1,500 with a time of 4:40.58.

The Fred Hardy Invitational concludes on Saturday with several events.
