Allegheny women's track and field opened the spring portion of the 2011 calendar with an eighth-place finish at the scored PLNU Multi-Team Scoring Meet hosted by Point Loma University. Aided by beautiful weather throughout the week of training, the west coast trip provided a tremendous opportunity for the Gators to jump-start the outdoor season.
