SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Due to inclement weather, Monday's scheduled home softball doubleheader between Slippery Rock University and Mercyhurst College has been postponed until 1 p.m. Sunday (4/10). Also, Tuesday's doubleheader at Edinboro has been postponed to a date yet to be announced.

To make room for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division showdown, head coach Vashion Johnson announced that Sunday's scheduled non-conference doubleheader between Slippery Rock and Point Park has been canceled. It was also announced Monday that The Rock's April 12 matchup at Glennville State has been canceled.

With PSAC crossover games scheduled for this weekend, SRU and Edinboro will wait for the conference to make a decision regarding those games. If the PSAC decides to cancel the crossover games, Edinboro and Slippery Rock will likely try for a Saturday doubleheader at Edinboro.
