I\'d love to be at any of several great meets this weekend, but good fortune for my son and his bride-to-be lead me to Mercersburg and a wedding. Those who know us, know that Aaron is a second year (first-time head coach) at Boiling Springs, a AA school near Carlisle.
How a cross country coach can schedule a wedding on a Fall Saturday is... well, he must have found someone more important than this great sport. Despite harboring a fantasy of racing from (pickem, Coatesville/Bethlehem) to the wedding after a meet... a fantasy that was only verbalized as a joke... I\'ll be enjoying the Friday and Saturday festivities as a proud father. And then returning late Saturday night to report on your incredible races. It\'ll be great weather for racing - but especially for a wedding.
