Wissahickon\'s Boys and Girls teams each captured 2nd place awards in the Varsity A Races on the difficult Brandywine Creek State Park course at the annual Salesianum Invitational. Douglas Maisey led his team with a 7th place 17:14. Hatboro-Horsham\'s Josh Hibbs was 2nd n 16:40, with LaSalle\'s Pat Jeffers 3rd at 16:55. Serita Lachesis and Katie Rudolph went 5-6 to lead Wissahickon\'s girls, going 20:34, and 20:36, respectively. North Penn sophomore Jennifer Schofield was 4th in 20:24. The girls lost by just two points to Padua Academy DE. Holy Ghost Prep won the Varsity B race behind the 5th place run of Eric Wojciechowski in 17:35. Teammates Dante DiMidio and Jim Gilbert were 8th and 9th. Upper Morleand\'s Greg Kammerle ran 17:25 for 3rd. In the Girls B Race, Upper Merion was 4th, led by Alli Andreyko\'s win in 21:11. In Varsity C Races, Westtown\'s Rocco Arena was 13th in 18:01; while William Penn Charter took 4th as a team behind Julianne Skinner\'s 11th place run in 22:29. Villa Joseph Marie frosh Katie Brady finished 10th in the race in the same time.
