NEW ORLEANS – The Shippensburg University women's outdoor track and field program has maintained the No. 13 national ranking in the latest computer data released on Tuesday by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

SU is now one of four nationally-ranked programs from the PSAC. Slippery Rock (No. 17) and IUP (No. 24) stayed in the poll while being joined for the first time this season by No. 25 East Stroudsburg.

This past week, junior Neely Spence recorded the fastest 5K time in NCAA Division II history at the prestigious Mt. Sac Relays in California with a time of 15:33.83. Among the limited competitors at the Bucknell meet on Friday, junior Amanda Raudabaugh and sophomore Katie Spratford posted NCAA provisional qualifying marks in the 1,500 and 5K, respectively.

Shippensburg will now split its men's and women's squad this weekend. One group will travel to Princeton for competition on Friday and Saturday. Another group will flock to East Stroudsburg on Saturday for the ESU All-American Invitational.
