MEADVILLE, Pa. – Senior standout
Tony Dipre was named North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Men's Distance Athlete of the Week following an outstanding race that resulted in the second-fastest 1,500-meter run in school history.
On Friday, April 15, Dipre finished fifth overall in the fastest section of the men's 1,500m at the 2011 Bison Outdoor Track & Field Classic. The windy and wet conditions were far from ideal, although Dipre managed to establish a personal record and an NCAA provisional qualifying time with a clip of 3:50.84. The final split marked the second-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season.
