High Jump Results
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - For the first time in his career, senior
Justin Gewirtz competed against some of the top high jumpers in the country as part of the 117th annual Penn Relays. Gewirtz who recorded a height of 6-05.00 went on to finish in 16th place overall Friday morning.
Gewirtz was the only Division III high jumper to actually compete on Friday. Taking the individual championship was University of Maryland's Jon Hill with an impressive leap of 6-11.50 feet. Amongst the universities and colleges that competed in the high jump were Penn State, Cornell, Navy, Army, Temple and Lehigh.
The entire track and field team will be in action tomorrow as they take part in the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg University.
