Gwynedd Mercy Acdademy's Emma Keenan improved her PA#1 800 to 2:12.12, while North Penn's Heather Selheimer moved up to PA#3 with her 2:13.46. Keenan's time is now US#15 and tied the meet record. Kayla Charles of North Penn moved up to PA#7 in the 300 meter hurdles with her winning time of 45.79. Charles also added a PA#4 time in the 100 meter hurdles with a winning time of 14.95 and a long jump victory in 16-9. Megan McGovern of North Penn ran 5:06.77 to win the 1600 meter run by 30 seconds. Quakertown ran 48.52 to win the 4x100 meter relay and earn PA#5. Alicia Evans of Quakertown ran 57.30 to win the 400 meter dash by over 3 seconds. Sister Jody Ann Evans ran 25.42 to win the 200 meter dash

For the boys, recent Penn State signee Matt Gilmore of Cheltenham took home two meet records with his 21.48 200 and 48.11 double. Both times lead the state. Hong Cho ran a personal best in the 800 meter run with a PA#2 time of 1:52.82. Max Hairston of Wissahickon ran a PA#2 time of 38.72 to win the 300 meter hurdles and ran 14.96 to win the 110 meter hurdles. Dillon Farrell of Wissahickon ran a PA#3 time of 9:28.13 to win the 3200 meter run. Wissahickon capped off their big home meet performance with a PA#6 time of 3:21.06 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Top field performance went to Joey Smith of Norristown who won the long jump with a mark of 21-6.

The hurdles once again stole the show at the Delaware County Championships, as three of PA's top four performances in the 300 meter hurdles AND the 110 meter hurdles came in this meet! State leader Eric Futch of Penn Wood ran a blazing T-US#12 37.47 to win the 300 hurdles. He was followed by Upper Darby's Wellington Zaza (38.62 PA#3) and teammate Johnathan Stiles (38.70, PA#4). Chris Williams of Strath Haven led the charge in the 110 hurdles with a PA#2 time of 14.23 to win the American Division. Futch finished won the National Division in 14.24 (PA#3) and Kevin Day of Glen Mills was 2nd behind Futch in 14.25 (PA#4). Day did run a PA#3 time of 10.76 to win the National Division 100 meter dash while Futch added a state leading 21.32 to win the National Division 200 meter dash. Tyler Gallen (48.33 PA#2) and Brian Hamilton of Cardinal O'Hara (49.14 PA#4) went 1-2 in the 400 meter dash in the American Division. Teammate Kenny McAndress ran 1:56.75 to win the 800 meter run. Scott Rushton of Episcopal Academy became the new state leader in the shot put with his American division winning mark of 59-6. Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara won the American Division discus with a PA#3 mark of 174-5. Garnet Valley's Brian Moore ran 1:56.47 to win the National Division 800 meter run. Mahdi Koliso of Glen Mills ran 9:41.40 to win the 3200 meter run. Wellington Zaza of Upper Darby jumped 45-9.75 to win the triple jump.
 
After the first day, Malik Jones and Tyler Ross of Monsignor Bonner and Chris Williams of Strath Haven all ran 10.8h in the 100 meter dash American division prelims. Williams also improved his PA#2 mark in the 110 meter hurdles with the top prelim time of 14.36. Andrew Brandt of Marple Newtown cleared 6-4 to win the American division high jump. Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara made a big jump in the discus  from PA#10 to PA#3 with his American division win in 174-5. In the national division, Kevin Day of Glen Mills and Eric Futch of Penn Wood ran 10.8h in the 100 meter dash. Futch added a PA#3 time of 21.95 in the 200 meter prelims, ran 14.44 in the 110 hurdle prelims and ran 39.6 in the 300 meter hurdles along with Wellington Zaza of Upper Darby. Derek Dawson of Ridley cleared 6-4 to win the National division high jump.

Rachel Van Metre of Strath Haven had a big final night to help lead her team to the team championship. After winning the high jump on Thursday, Van Metre won the long jump with a mark of 17-5.50 and won the 100 meter hurdles in a PA#8 time of 14.96. Another show stealer was Notre Dame's Maria Seykora. In the 1600 meter final, the entire 12 girl field ran a 78 second first 400. Then Seykora took off and was followed by Tess Meehan of Haverford, Katie Rodden of Archbishop Carroll, and Hannah Grossman of Strath Haven. After a 71 second 2nd lap, the four of them were completely by themselves. On the backstretch of the final lap, Seykora pulled away and won her 2nd straight county title in 4:58.16. Grossman was 2nd in 5:01.48 (PA#5) and Meehan was 3rd in 5:02.07 (PA#8). In the 3200, Seykora and Rodden went head to head from the gun, running 5:24 for the first 1600 meters. The two of them just ran stride for stride until Rodden made a pass at the bell lap. 200 meters later, Seykora used her 2:13 800 meter speed and pulled away from Rodden and won her 2nd gold medal of the night in a meet record and PA#2 time of 10:49.67. Rodden would finish with a PA#4 time of 10:54.01. Lydia Ali of Radnor also won double gold, winning the 100 meter dash in a PA#3 time of 12.01 and the 200 meter dash in a PA#3 time of 24.80 and making it look easy in the process. Allison Sharkey of Cardinal O'Hara had a breakthrough race in the 400 meter dash and won her first county title with a time of 57.55. Emily Wenger of Garnet Valley took the lead on the final hurdle to win the 300 meter hurdles in a T-PA#2 time of 45.26. Val Wilson of Strath Haven ran an even splitted 800 meter run to take home the gold medal in a PA#6 time of 2:16.29.
 
Thus far after day one, Maddie Eustache of Upper Darby won the triple jump with a PA#4 mark of 36-10.25. In the prelim track rounds, Lynnese Beyan of Upper Darby was the fastest qualifier in the 300 meter hurdles with a PA#6 time of 45.72. Lydia Ali of Radnor ran the top qualifier in the 100 meter dash in a PA#3 time of 12.08. Georgia Mason of Upper Darby was the best qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles with a PA#7 time of 15.15. Strath Haven leads after five events with 29 points with Haverford and Upper Darby tied for 2nd with 18 points after day one.

Kate Scott of Council Rock North won the 3200 meter run with a PA#5 time of 11:05.1. Devon Broglie of Central Bucks East won the shot put (36-11.50) and the discus (92-10).

For the boys, Rashaad Williams of Central Bucks West ran a PA#2 time of 10.6h to win the 100 meter dash and teammate Dan Ernst ran a PA#6 time of 22.0h to win the 200 meter dash. Skyler Berry of Council Rock North won the long jump (21-1) and the triple jump (41-7.25).

Drew Magaha of Upper Moreland regained his state lead in the 800 meter run with a US#7 time of 1:52.17! Paulus Gipla of Harry S Truman won the 100 (11.21) and the 200 meter dashes (22.20 PA#6). John Trueman of Springfield Montco ran a PA#5 time of 9:29.49 to win the 3200 meter run. Christian Lupica of Holy Ghost Prep swept both hurdles, winning the 110 meter hurdles in 14.92 and the 300 hurdles in 39.45 (PA#8). Jay Jabat of Pennsbury cleared 6-4 to win the high jump. Tyrek Edwards of Archbishop Ryan won the long jump with a PA#3 mark of 23-3.50.

For the girls, Tabitha DeHart of Cheltenham improved on her PA#8 time in the 800 meter run with a winning time of 2:17.06. Sara Sargent of Pennsbury ran 5:06.13 to win the 1600 meter run. Paige McDowell of Council Rock South won the 300 meter hurdles with a PA#2 time of 45.31. Central Bucks West ran 3:56.54 to win the 4x400 meter relay. COuncil Rock South ran 9:37.60 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Kelley Anne Stuetz of Cheltenham cleared 5-4 to win the high jump. Jordan Matthews of Abington improved on her state lead in the long jump with a winning mark of 19-1.
