"The Farm Course" at Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA
We changed venues this year to try to expand the racing opportunities and to continue to improve on the fun atmosphere that is unique to cross country and this meet.
This new PTXC, nationally certified, all-grass course is a true cross country challenge. No killer hills (It is, after all, early season). It is fan-friendly by using two loops which pass the start/finish at about the half-way point, and then goes over a new section before looping backward for the final mile.
At the speed of the top guys in the state, take a full tour of the PTXC-3 Farm Course at Kutztown University. The meet is Saturday, September 10, 2011.

2011 will have all the cool stuff from PTXC-1 and 2, including chip timing, great awards and entertainment, meet T-shirts for sale, and more to be announced in the coming months.
And we have made another big change - For this year, we have lowered our entry fees to help schools deal with budgetary challenges - dropping our Varsity rate from $110 to $100 per gender, and our JV and MS from $75 to $50 per gender.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday August 31, 9:59 PM - or before, if we meet capacity.

The Competition:
Already two top harriers are signed on, defending runner-up (she was 2nd to the Foot Locker champ Aisling Cuffe) Angel Piccirillo of Homer Center, and Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic, who was state runner-up to Piccirillo in AA in 2010.
PTXC-3 welcomes all of our 2011 competitors for what promises to be a great day of cross country.
While the meet remains open until August 31st, it is best to make sure you have your spot reserved as soon as possible.

The Host Hotel for 2011 is the HOLIDAY INN CONFERENCE CENTER Route 100 just off I-78
Special rate of $109 for four includes a breakfast-to-go on Saturday morning
