The 3rd PTXC cross country invitational set for Saturday September 10th is already shaping up to be one of the best September meets in the region this year.
The latest to join the race is a top Virginia team from Osbourn Park. They lost a 6th runner tie-breaker to PA's West Chester Henderson at last year's race, and have a team returning that is top 10 in the state. They'll be joined in the Girls' A race by one of PA's top returning teams - Pennsbury; which features 2009 state xc champ and two-time Foot Locker finalist Sara Sargent. Also signed up to return are last year's AA champ and Foot Locker finalist Angel Piccirillo of Homer Center, and Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic, who was state runner-up to Piccirollo in AA in 2010.
