NEW ORLEANS – Four members of the Shippensburg University men's track & field program were selected to the 2011 Division II All-Academic Track & Field team. A total of 162 student-athletes representing 63 institutions compose the group.

Shippensburg's honorees are senior Bryan Beegle, sophomore Joel Flott, junior Stephen Schelander and senior Sean Stetler. Beegle was also honored with an All-Academic designation last season.

To qualify for the individual All-Academic recognition, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division II Indoor or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.
