| State College earned 2nd place at last year's PIAA State Championship, only 8 points shy of North Penn. This season they will be returning their top 4 runners from last year as well as their number 6 runner. State College has the best returning duo in the state with Theo Oppermann (Sr.) and Luke Bradbury (Sr.) who finished 3rd and 5th, respectively, as the top two AAA juniors in last year's state championship. Kyle Fritzche (Sr.) is a very impressive 3rd runner for the squad after posting a personal best of 4:12.78 for 9th place in the 1600 at the PIAA Track & Field Championship. We could potentially see State College put the top 3 in the top 10 at states come November. |
