Aiden Kolkmeyer - 15-16 Boys 110m Hurdles - 1st, 14.42
Kolkmeyer delivered one of the clearest Pennsylvania highlights of the day, winning the 15-16 110-meter hurdles in 14.42 into a slight -0.8 m/s wind. He held off Jahmai McKenzie and Zion Mills, both of whom ran 14.58, to take the national title.
Finn Scherer - 12 Boys 1500m - 12th, 4:48.16
Scherer put together a solid national-meet performance in the 12-year-old 1500, running 4:48.16 to finish 12th overall. The AOC Ambler runner was one of Pennsylvania's better distance finishes in the younger age groups Thursday.
Jackson Dargie - 12 Boys 1500m - 45th, 5:08.84
Dargie also represented AOC Ambler in the 12-year-old 1500, clocking 5:08.84. While he didn't contend for the podium, simply making the national final and competing against a large field makes the performance worth mentioning in a Pennsylvania roundup.
Luke Rabar - 12 Boys 1500m - 33rd, 4:58.92
Rabar gave Lehigh Valley Elite Track Club another Thursday representative in the national 12-year-old 1500. His 4:58.92placed him 33rd overall in a deep field of 73 finishers.
Dallas Wade - 12 Boys 1500m - 36th, 5:01.92
Wade finished 36th in 5:01.92 for Delco Stallions Track Club. The mark put him just over the five-minute barrier in a national championship field that included more than 70 finishers.
Girls
Emery Sutton - 13 Girls 1500m - 2nd, 4:47.03
Thursday, taking second nationally in 4:47.03 in the 13-year-old 1500. Running for AOC Ambler, Sutton was just 3.69 seconds behind national champion Jada Boydstun and finished comfortably ahead of the third-place finisher.
Nieve Keitel - 17-18 Girls 1500m - 5th, 4:42.95
Keitel continued a strong AAU Junior Olympic meet for Pennsylvania with a fifth-place finish in the 17-18 1500, running 4:42.95 for AOC Ambler. She finished behind only four athletes in the national championship field and was the top Pennsylvania finisher in the event.
Scarlett Evans - 13 Girls 1500m - 5th, 4:51.89
Evans joined Sutton in the 13-year-old final and produced another top-five national finish for AOC Ambler. Her 4:51.89was good for fifth overall, giving Pennsylvania two athletes inside the top five of the same national championship race.
Harper Kerrigan - 13 Girls 1500m - 17th, 5:02.59
Kerrigan added another AOC Ambler presence to the 13-year-old 1500 final, running 5:02.59 for 17th overall. She was part of an especially strong AOC showing in the event, with three Pennsylvania-based athletes reaching the national final.
Sophie Miller - 12 Girls 1500m - 17th, 5:26.75
Miller finished 17th in 5:26.75 in the 12-year-old 1500 for West Chester Track. She was one of the Pennsylvania athletes to reach the national final in the younger distance races Thursday.
