Reading, Pa. (Sept. 10, 2011) - Freshman
Eric Schweitzer (Adamstown, Pa./Cocalico) cracked the top 10 covering the 8k course at the Albright College Men's Cross Country Invitational in just under 31 minutes to finish eighth and lead Alvernia University to an eighth place finish.
Fellow freshman
Peter MacNamee (Dublin, Pa./Pennridge) finished top 20 just a minute off Schweitzer's pace in 16th place. Catholic University took the team title while Albright's George Cook was the low individual in a time of 28:31.
Alvernia is scheduled to race at the Cumberland County College Invitational next Saturday.
