LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Due to the recent flooding and continued rain over the last week, the PSAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships scheduled for Saturday, October 22, have been moved from Mansfield to Lock Haven.

Mansfield was originally scheduled to host the cross country championships but access to the school's cross country course was cut off due to damaged roads from the excessive flood waters. As a result, the cross country coaches and athletic administrators from the PSAC voted unanimously this morning to move the venue for next month's championship to Lock Haven, which last hosted the conference cross country championships in 2008.

"I want to thank Mansfield for providing us ample time to make appropriate accommodations to the championship venue change and Lock Haven for stepping forward to host in what will be a very busy day for them otherwise," said PSAC commissioner Steve Murray. "With the relatively close proximity the schools are to one another, this was our best option when everything was considered, including traveling and lodging accomodations."
