Center Valley, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2011) - Freshman
Eric Schweitzer (Adamstown, Pa./Cocalico) finished in 215th place in a mamoth field at the DeSales Men's Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning leading Alvernia University to a 42nd place finish out of 45 teams.
The race list was so large the teams were split into two different races then the times were combined for the final results. Dickinson College finished first in the men's race paced by race winner Dylan Straughn who covered the five mile course in 25:56. He was the only competitor in either race to break the 26 minute mark.
Alvernia returns to action next Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitaitonal.
