CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Sophomore Kristina Martin represented the Blue and Gold incredibly well at the 2011 DeSales Invitational on Saturday. Competing in her first 8k of the season, Martin finished seventh overall in a field of nearly 430 runners.

Martin closed fifth overall in the Red race, but finished seventh in the aggregate after completing the course in 23:51.84. It was another tremendous result for Martin, who copped NCAC Runner of the Week accolades her last time out.

“Kristina was great today,” said head coach Brent Wilkerson. “She continues to step up, and appears to be getting stronger every weekend. I'm excited to see what Kristina and our entire women's team can accomplish as we continue our preparation for the postseason.”
