LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's cross country team earned the top five places in Sunday afternoon's 6K race and post the lowest possible team score – 15 points – to win the Lock Haven University River Run over LHU, ESU and IUP.
Junior
Katie Wiechelt continued her outstanding and won her first collegiate race at Shippensburg with a time of 23:13.70. Fellow junior
Ashley Fornshell set a new collegiate 6K PR by 18 seconds with a second-place time of 23:25.30.
Sophomore
Allison Constant also set a new collegiate 6K PR with a time of 23:29.70. Freshman Katy Perry and redshirt freshman
Heather Weiss rounded out the Top 5.

Alicia O'Donel, freshman
Mackenzie Riford and sophomore
Allie Flott also ran Sunday and established new PRs.
Shippensburg will compete in the 2011 Atlantic Regional Championship meet on Saturday from Cooper's Lake Campground near Slippery Rock.
