LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's cross country team won Sunday's Lock Haven University River Run 8K race over the host Bald Eagles and IUP by placing five runners in the Top 20 and scoring 26 points in the race. Senior
Greg Ahlswede paced the Raiders with a third-place finish of 26:41 to establish a new 8K PR.
Junior
Brian Quintrell finished sixth with a season PR of 26:51. Junior
John Reilly was SU's No. 3 runner in 27:32 while freshman
Matt Bee and
Matt Ahearn rounded out the SU's scoring runners. Bee and Ahearn set new PRs.
Shippensburg will compete in the 2011 Atlantic Regional Championship meet on Saturday from Cooper's Lake Campground near Slippery Rock.
