The Middle Atlantic Conference has announced its 2011 Fall Academic Honor and Sportsmanship Teams.

The Honor Roll comprises those student-athletes of sophomore class standing or higher who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 (4.00 scale) or higher and completed the playing season in good standing.

Forty-seven Lions were named to the list from Albright's seven fall teams. They are:

Field Hockey: Beth Moran, Samantha Pesaresi, Kaitlyn Pietrusewicz, Kelsey Ruch, Kelsey Trainor, Courtney White
Football: Danny Cieniewicz, Malik Compton, Nick Devine, Adam Galczynski, James Gallagher, Zach Groff, Francis Hall, JT Harding, Tyler Metauro, Tim McCaffrey, Nick Shackelford, Caleb Shilko, Eric Wade
Men's Cross Country: George Cook, Connor Unger
Men's Soccer: Matt Davis, Craig Smith, Chris Tadley, Adam Toroniewski, Mark Yost
Volleyball: Alyssa Hoogendoorn, Alexa Jones, Michelle LaRocque, Christa Mantz, Laura van Bendegem, Erin Wentzel
Women's Cross Country: Lauren Centafont, Mary Frederick, Shanna Hawkins, Kim Hummel, Mackenzie Miller, Caroline Vazzana

Of that list, Hall, Wade, Cook and Yost were all named to both the MAC Honor Roll and their respective All-Conference teams.

The MAC also announced its annual sportsmanship teams for fall 2011 conference sports. These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.

Albright's selections were: Mark Bergery (football), Madison Bailey (field hockey), Matt Davis (men's soccer), Katie Cooper (women's soccer), Sam Marcotte (men's cross country), Lauren Centafont (women's cross country) and Alexa Jones (volleyball).
